A frightfully fresh Halloween treat packed with nutrients and flavor!
Servings:
2 Monster Smoothies
⏱ Prep Time:
10 minutes

Ingredients:
1 cup fresh spinach
½ cup pea shoot microgreens (for a smooth, sweet flavor and vibrant green color)
1 ripe banana (adds natural sweetness)
½ cup frozen pineapple chunks
½ cup frozen mango
1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of choice)
½ cup Greek yogurt (optional for creaminess)
1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup (optional)
A few ice cubes for texture
Optional Monster Add-Ons:
Chia seeds for “monster specks”
Blueberries or black grapes as “monster eyes”
A drizzle of dark chocolate syrup on the inside of the cup for a spooky swirl
🕸️
Directions:
Blend the Greens: Add your spinach, microgreens, and almond milk to the blender first. Blend until smooth — this ensures no leafy chunks in your monster mix.
Add the Fruits:Toss in your banana, pineapple, and mango. Blend again until creamy and bright green.
Sweeten & Chill:Add Greek yogurt, honey (if using), and a few ice cubes. Blend one last time until smooth and frothy.
Serve with a Scare: Pour into clear cups. Add your monster eyes (blueberries or grapes) and use chocolate syrup to make creepy faces on the cup walls.
Note:
Pea shoot microgreens give this smoothie a naturally sweet and earthy kick, while spinach boosts your green monster color! You can also swap pea shoots for broccoli microgreens if you want a stronger, more “grown-up” flavor.
Fun Tip for Kids (and Adults!):
Name your monsters — “Frankie the Fresh One,” “The Green Goblin Smoothie,” or “Lil’ Leafy Beast.”Make it a Halloween tradition that’s spooky, fun, and healthy!
